"The purpose of my art is to serve our communities, children, nature and animals... especially horses! I love to create contemporary, realistic art that inspires people! Art which may provide a greater sense of awareness and healing.
An ambition of mine is to lead by example, as an artist and equestrian, with the intention to create a serendipitous relationship for the art collector. One that may spark an emotional conversation between the viewer and the art being observed. When people see my artwork, they are invited to explore my world of the Modern Cowgirl: Spirit of The West."

Raised on a ranch near the Pacific Ocean, Cassandra grew up with a large family of influential artists and a plethora of exotic animals. Both her mother and father, who met in the music business, were professional artists; musicians and performers.
During this era, her siblings were striving to be actors, playwrights, musicians, sculptors and designers who learned various mediums to gain leverage in the art world.
In fact, all of Cassandra's family members, even grandmas', had an insatiable desire for the dramatic arts!
The household ambiance was artistically competitive, yet their home was always full of creative energy. Moment to moment, driving mom crazy, they would act out funny characters performing silly musical dance routines with puppets, pets, gadgets and musical instruments of sorts just to spend joyful time together.
"Everyday family life was like a Mr. Toad's Wild Ride," Kendall explained, "a Disney-like adventure with home-made amusements rides, decorations, ridiculous costumes and dramatic lighting effects. We always seemed to be acting-out a part of a Hollywood film script of a movie-production. Either imitating action-film voiceovers or rehearsing a script out of Mad-Lib," Cassandra explained.
These one-act skits always included juggling, roller-skating and unicycle performances. Needless to say, with a pet parrot riding upon someone's shoulder! Let's just say, the house was a real life Tiki-Room!
These dynamic relationships greatly influenced Kendall to work on her artistic interests. All the while, hone her skills as an athlete and simultaneously refine her equestrian knowledge. Having the best of both worlds also motivated her to explore rough water sports such as scuba diving, surfing and competitive water skiing. A thrilling sport that she enjoyed during college and years after.
After studying Fine Arts in college and working as a freelance commercial photographer, Kendall continued to grow and learn new skills in digital painting and graphic design, using Photoshop, Painter and Affinity programs.
Currently, Kendall now works out of her art studio and manages her business, Art Bonita, where she executes high-end art products and services.
